Katie Scherer, PA-C is a Tampa Bay native. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and moved to Tampa in 2017 to complete her medical training at South University where she earned a degree in Physician Assistant Studies, March 2020.
Following PA School, Katie began her medical career at Tampa General Hospital where she practiced medicine in a surgical subspecialty and completed residency training specializing in Otolaryngology, "ENT."
Katie is a licensed Physician Assistant in the state of Florida and is Nationally Certified by the NCCPA. She is an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Katie is an integral member of the team and collaborates closely with Dr. Pate to ensure optimal patient care. She fosters a commitment to lifelong learning and a desire to provide exemplary medical care to you and your loved ones.
